Lesson Policy (Please Read!)

Lesson Policies as of April 2011

Tuition

o Cost of tuition is $90.00 per student per month. This guarantees students a weekly, half-hour time slot with

a Pepperell Music Center instructor. Tuition is paid monthly and is due on the 1st lesson of each month. A

$10 late fee will be charged for tuition not received by the 2nd lesson of the month, and the student may be

removed from the schedule without notice.

Student Attendance and Cancellations

o As a courtesy to your instructor, Pepperell Music Center requests that students call 24 hours in advance

in regards to any absences. Please note though, make-up lessons and credits will not be offered for lessons

missed due to student absence. Your lesson time has been reserved especially for you. It is your regular

appointment time and must be paid for regardless of your presence. If for any reason you cannot attend your

scheduled lesson, you will be charged for that lesson. There are no refunds on unused lessons.

Instructor Absence

o In the event an instructor is unable to attend a lesson, a make-up lesson will be arranged or credit will be

issued to the student. In the event a student is absent for a make-up lesson, it will be forfeited.

Inclement Weather

o Should inclement weather force us to close, you will receive a call from Pepperell Music Center to cancel

your lesson. You can also check our website (www.pepperellmusiccenter.com) or call our storefront

(978.433.8247) for store closings. We will post closings as quickly as possible. In the event of a store closing

due to weather, a make-up lesson or credit will be arranged.

Calendar (As of April 2011)

o Tuition in regards to Pepperell Music Center’s two (2) vacation weeks and five (5) holidays has already

been deducted. Students are allotted one (1), unpaid week during the months of June, July and August for

vacation. Please notify Pepperell Music Center prior to taking this week.
